Corus strengthens its sustainability strategy with eco-friendly packaging and process improvements.

June 5 marks World Environment Day, a global reminder of our responsability to protect the environment. At Corus, we uphold our commitment and responsaibility, as Europe's leading dental laboratory network, to foster a more sustainable dental industry.

Last year, we shared our work in reducing our carbon footprint (see article: Óptima Carbon Footprint). In 2025, we’ve taken meaningful steps forward — starting with our packaging.

Packaging that respects the planet

This year, we have redesigned our packaging materials to reduce environmental impact. Key updates include:

• Adoption of 100% recycled or partially recycled materials, all of which are fully recyclable.
• Use of cardboard and paper from FSC-certified forests.
• Downsizing of packaging formats and reducing cardboard volume while maintaining full product protection.
• Optimised design for more efficient transport and logistics.

Building a more sustainable model

These packaging changes are part of a broader strategy focused on sustainability. From the digitalisation of workflows to team awareness and continuous improvements in production and logistics, we are committed to doing our part.
