Corus with science

In 2021, Nobrux made a commitment to support breast cancer research, and today we remain firm in this mission.

In these five years we have allocated

+80.000€

to the visibility and scientific research of this cause.

Chronological

2021

Nobrux starts its campaign in Spain, joining the fight against breast cancer. In collaboration with the Spanish Association Against Cancer (AECC), destinamos 10.000 € anuales durante tres años para cofinanciar el proyecto de investigación de la Dra. Gema Moreno, ‘Desarrollo de nuevas terapéuticas para pacientes con cáncer de mama HER2+', which works on the development of better drugs to avoid tumour resistance and prevent metastasis. In addition, a channel has been set up through the AECC portal to facilitate voluntary donations.

2022

In Spain, we continue with our commitment begun the previous year, maintaining financial support for Dr. Gema Moreno's project with a further €10,000 as part of the agreed multi-year co-financing. This action is accompanied by new content and materials that help to make the cause visible and invite participation from all areas of the company.

2023

The campaign goes one step further and crosses borders. France joins the initiative through the ARC Foundation, donating €10,000 to Dr. Camille Attané's project, ‘Lutter contre la formation des métastases issues des cancers du sein triple-négatifs’, which investigates the role of fat cells in the aggressiveness of triple-negative breast cancer.

In Spain, we concluded the third and final year of collaboration with Dr. Gema Moreno, celebrating the good results obtained in her research.

2024

Spain renews its collaboration with the AECC, this time to support Dr. Fara Brasó's project, focused on identifying new weak points to overcome resistance in metastatic breast cancer.

For its part, France continues its involvement with the ARC Foundation, co-funding the work of Alexis Gautreau's team, ‘Urgence Cancers Agressifs (Triple-Négatifs)’, which studies a molecular switch involved in the migration of cancer cells through the cytoskeleton.

2025

The campaign reaches a new milestone in its international journey.

Belgium joins for the first time through Think Pink's SMART Fund, with a contribution of €5,000 for innovative research focused on early detection, treatment and follow-up of breast cancer.

The Netherlands joins a Pink Ribbon with a donation of €5,000 for projects covering scientific research, prevention and patient support.

In Spain, for the second consecutive year, we renewed our support for Dr. Fara Brasó's project, which seeks new ways to overcome resistance in metastatic breast cancer.

France maintains its commitment through the ARC Foundation, co-funding the new study by Dr. Étienne Brain: ‘Mieux guider le choix de la chimiothérapie chez les femmes de plus de 70 ans’, focused on improving therapeutic decisions in older women affected by this disease.

Beyond the campaign

Did you know that our network of laboratories regularly welcomes proposals from a large number of institutions and associations at European level?

At Corus, we are involved in projects, trainings and lectures, as well as direct collaborations with universities, to give visibility to research and value shared knowledge.

In addition, we actively participate in studies and research to identify and develop challenges and solutions that foster innovation. To contribute not only to the company, but also to the growth of the sector.

We are allies of scientific development, research and dissemination in Europe.
